Contest Rules and Regulations

 

Eligibility

The contest is open to all individuals over the age of 18 who have installed a project using Omnify products. Proof of purchase of the Omnify product captured in the image must be shown to qualify. Contest is not open to Quebec residents.

 

Submission Deadline

Every month submitted images will be reviewed by judges and 1 image will be selected as the winner per month. The entrant who meets the judging criteria and is selected as the winner by the judges will be awarded $1000. You can submit multiple entries, but once an image is submitted it cannot be resubmitted.

 

Image Requirements

Submitted images must be  high-resolution and in JPG format. You can submit up to 5 views of the installation. Images must accurately depict the installed project and showcase Omnify backlighting. Must not include any people looking directly at the camera. Preferably, no people are in the image, unless its in a large public setting and unavoidable. 

 

Copyright

By submitting an image, the entrant grants Omnify an exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use the image for promotional and marketing purposes for an unlimited duration of time.  Entrant must own the rights to the image. Submissions that are found to be plagiarized will result in the participant being held responsible for any damages resulting from copyright violations and disqualification from the contest.   

 

Judging Criteria

Images will be judged based on the following criteria: creative use of product, ingenuity in design, and overall backlighting impact. If from the total submissions received none of the images qualify for the prize, no winner will be announced for that month.

Prize: The winner will receive $1000. One winner will be announced every month for 5 months.

 

Notification of Winner

The winner will be notified by email within by the first week of the following month for which they have submitted an image. If the winner does not respond within 1 week an alternate winner will be selected.

 

Liability and Indemnification

Omnify is not liable for any damages or injuries related to the contest and that contestants agree to indemnify the company against any claims arising from the contest.

Compliance with laws

The contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations in Canada.

Omnify reserve the right to modify these rules at any time without prior notice. By submitting an image, the entrant agrees to abide by these rules and regulations.
